Matrona de Perge: un fragmento de himno atribuido a Romano Melodo

Resumen
En este artículo se revisa parte de la bibliografía sobre la cuestión hagiográfica femenina y las santas travestidas, definiendo los requisitos que este tipo de mujeres deben cumplir, de acuerdo con los estándares del Bizancio de la época. Partiendo de estos datos, se toma como eje central del trabajo la figura de Matrona de Perge, una santa cuyo dossier literario-hagiográfico es muy reducido, y se recupera un texto hímnico acerca de su figura que la mayoría de estudios sobre esta santa omiten. Dicho texto es traducido por primera vez a una lengua moderna, analizado y comentado, poniendo de relieve los tópicos presentes.Palabras clave:
