The expression of sadness and pain with tears is a characteristic of human beings. In the Homeric poems the warriors cry. Among them, Odysseus. This feature also appears in the hero in the Kazantzakis’ Odyssey. This paper presents some of the moments when the emotion of the character is manifested in tears.
