Abstract

Discursive markers are elements that surpass sentence limits and that can perform different roles inside discourse. These roles depend on the context of the utterance, thus, pragmatic description turns out to be indispensable to fi nd the equivalent marker in the target language. A direct translation automatically resorted to is not always correct, since it does not always work like an equivalent.
