This paper addresses the definition that should be adopted by the integration concept from a conceptual and operative perspective; such a proposal is intended to contribute to the solution of social housing problems. It is suggested that a comprehensive approach should be associated with the integration concept; in other words, different professionals should work together to address a given issue from a comprehensive perspective.
